It is a construction of the Uganda House of Worship, located on Kikaya Hill, 4 miles from Kampala on the Gayaza Road. It is also the Mother Temple of Africa. The temple was began in 1958 and completed in 1962, it soars above every other landscape. The temple’s interior woodwork and colored glass windows create a vibrant hall of ambers, blues, greens and whites. When the nine large entrance doors are opened, the interior appears to merge with the sun-drenched fields and blue and white skies-a reminder of the oneness of God’s creation.
