The Bank of Africa
It was the second Bank in the Bank of Africa Group set up in the English speaking zone in 2006. It is located on plot 45, Jinja Road, P.O. Box 2750, Kampala Uganda. The Bank started operating in 1984 and was bought by Banque Belgolaise and the Netherlands Development Finance Company in 1996.
In October 2006, the Bank joined the Bank Of Africa Group following the transfer of the Belgolaise shareholding to Bank of Africa, Kenya, Aureos East Africa Fund LLC and Central Holdings Ltd.

Bank of Baroda
The Bank is 18 Kampala Road, P.O. Box 7197, Kampala Uganda. The Bank offers convenience and ease in operating customers’ account wherever they are. Their 24- hour ATMs enable customers to withdraw cash, checking account balance and request for a new checkbook even after banking hours.

Barclays Bank
The Bank is located on plot 4 Hannington Road, P.O. Box 2971, Kampala Uganda. The operations of Barclays started in 1927 with 3 branches in Central and Eastern Uganda. In 1969, the bank was incorporated as an independent subsidiary of the Barclays PLC.

Centenary Bank is located along Entebbe Road plot No. 7, P.O. Box 1892, Kampala Uganda. The Bank was created as a financial institution to serve the economically disadvantaged people especially in rural areas and contribute to the overall economic development of the country. Diamond Trust Bank

It was established in 1973 as Libyan Arab Uganda Bank for Foreign Trade and Development. In 1994, the name was changed to Tropical Africa Bank Limited and in 2006 rebranded to Tropical Bank.
